Dick
Dick
is a psychologist, Spiritual Director and retired Navy Captain having spent
over thirty years in both the Submarine and Social Services.
Dick not only had command at sea, but also directed Navy social services
ashore in areas varying from domestic violence and child development programs
to drug/alcohol treatment and transition counseling.
In addition to his Naval Officer and Submarine training, Dick has also done
graduate training in Counseling Psychology and Spiritual Direction and has
specialized in Transition Psychology and Spiritual Direction, helping people
through life transitions and spiritual journeying.
As founder of Success Discovery, Dick has personally guided over five
thousand clients through The Success Triathlon and on to their personal path
to success.
As a Spiritual Director, he works with pastors and priests as they travel
their spiritual journey. He also does supervision of other spiritual
directors. He has been in spiritual direction for over twenty years.
He is married to Dougie, his high school sweetheart. They live in Mililani, Hawaii
and have three married children as well as two grand children. Dick and
Dougie have been members of Central Union
Church for over twenty years.
